No the new data link settings aren't implemented yet, they will be in the next update. The TDOA feature (triangulation) will only be of limited use in the campaign, as it wasn't in DCS when the campaign was built so the missions aren't set up to make use of it, we use other more engaging ways of finding sams instead .

TrayMcBong Posted August 26, 2024 Posted August 26, 2024 Hey Guys this fix doesnt work for me, because i get the Datalink, but i don't think that the Units are correctly asigned. The problem is, that I can't see my wingman in fiwos mission 2 via data link. At the start of the mission, there is a helicopter flying by behind you, which gets marked as "2" for the whole mission. So I can't designate my wingman to see in my hmd. It seems that all other units are correctly assigned. I tried edtiting the Mission, but I can't seem to find this Helicopter in Mission Editor. Is there any way to get around that bug?

Aronis Posted August 31, 2024 Posted August 31, 2024 The DL has not worked for me since the update I did several weeks ago. It had been working from day one when I first started using FIWOS. I tried the above work around without success. So flying without it. I have to get back to where I can actually fly this thing after 6 months away. Anyway once you get to the heart of the mission, the incoming bombers cannot be seen on the data link either. Mike

I normally see them appear within maybe 10 minutes so long as everything is set correctly. I'll double check the mission settings but I'm pretty sure there's nothing set incorrectly my end.
