Beirut Posted October 28, 2023 Posted October 28, 2023 Hello, Any suggestions for video tutorials - a series perhaps - for the Apache that treats the viewer as a mindless boob who can't tie his own shoes? Because that's what I need. I'd like to learn (some of) the systems but I am overwhelmed by the complexity. Thank you. 1 Some of the planes, but all of the maps!
Zyll Posted October 28, 2023 Posted October 28, 2023 Honestly, I find the Wags' Apache video series idealZyll @ TAW 1

Thanks. Ralfidude's A-10 for Dummies series was insanely good, I thought maybe someone had something like that going. Some of the planes, but all of the maps!
Zyll Posted October 28, 2023 Posted October 28, 2023 Casmo is the only other one I can think of who had lots of material. I used to love Redkite but he had no Apache content unfortunately.Zyll @ TAW 2
Floyd1212 Posted October 28, 2023 Posted October 28, 2023 Don't forget Bradmick's video series. But you'll have to actually pay attention to those, too. https://forum.dcs.world/topic/296437-ah-64d-flight-school-w-video-tutorials/ Between Wags and Bradmick, you can get a rundown on how to use all of the systems. Casmo's content isn't very "tutorial" in nature, but still entertaining. 3

As for the complexity learn it in phases I personally, with every MOD, learn take-off/landings, navigation, and weapons etc. in steps, aka one at a time., I then create small missions to train on each step. You have to break it up or you will be overwhelmed and most, including myself, never learn it all Edited October 30, 2023 by pii 1
