Gen 3 Superleague 2023/24 - Year of the Phantom!

Hello all

Thank you for taking a look at the upcoming competition that we TMC will be hosting, Competition Starting in Feb 2024 to avoid clashes with other tournements and to allow for the Phantom Release, This may be moved forward should sign ups reach unmanageable levels OR the Phantom comes out and teams feel ready. 

This competition aims to focus on the pre amraam and gen 4 aircraft combat, in a best of 3 set up that you are all familiar with. 

Teams will be 5v5 with a 6th member for GCI using the EWR set up in the maps, terrain masking will be your friend. 

Rules:

• Only full fidelity modules are allowed.

 

• Mariana and Caucaus Maps will be used.

 

• The match format is a 5 vs 5 best of three rounds air superiority mission. 

 

• Bullseye will be centered between the starting airfields. Surrounding bullseye, there will be an engagement bubble. 1 EWR per side, will be placed at the highest place available (Subject to Map) where this cannot be done the EWRs will be placed on bullseye and will be set to immortal. Map will change from last year to allow better coverage, with less coverage provided as the league progresses. 

 

• Each round is won if one of the two mission criterias is achieved. i) All of the opposing planes are destroyed ii) if a team has total air superiority in the bubble for 5 min. At least 1 aircraft must land after the mission criteria is reached.

 

• If a pilot disconnects while in the air, they are considered dead and must leave the server for that round.

 

• Due to the fragility of the older jets, a crash on take off is not an airframe loss and the player can respawn. 

 

• Weapon restrictions: No Nukes. No Pods, Jammers ect. (SPO Chaff and Flare Pod Allowed), No fuel Tanks on AV8B

 

• Airframe restrictions - The following jets are allowed ONLY -L39, C101, MB339 (Module not Mod) Mig15, 19 & 21, F5 Tiger, F-86 Sabre, Saab Viggen, AV8B,  F4 Phantom and Mirage F1 (All versions)

 

• No stream sniping

 

• Known DCS bugs and exploits must not be used to gain an advantage.

 

• Teams should fly respectfully and honorably, no arguments, disrespect or accusational behavior will be tollerated.
