I created a mission that originally used WWII Asset pack FLAK.  I realized that was a mistake because not everyone has it.  So, I removed the units and replaced them with Soviet, but the mission itself still says it requires the asset pack

Just open the miz file wilth your zip file program (rename the file from .miz to .zip) of choice and then open the mission files. Remove the required pack. It is close to the top of the file.

Then change the .zip file back to .miz.

1) Open the units list in the editor. There, you have the option to sort by module. If there is any WWII Assets pack unit left in the mission, you'll find it there.

2) .miz files are basically .zip files. You can open it with Winrar or similar without renaming the file. Once you open it, you'll see some folders and 4 .lua files, one of which named mission.lua. Open that one and in there you'll find something like "Required Modules". If you remove anything listed in there, you'll also remove the requirement of owning that module.

Note though that if you do that, any unit that is from a mod or assets pack will either turn into a Su-27 or Leopard 2 for the users without the mod/assets pack.
