Anyone else getting this since 2.9 dropped?  Seems like the RWR is calling out the same warnings incessantly.

As I'm flying away from a friendly FARP I hear "Roland, 6 o'clock" about 30 times until I get over the hill, then it's non-stop warnings from every radar on the far side of the hill...

I'll post a track if needed, but surely someone internally has reported this?

Yes, please post a track.

The RLWR should report each threat. I encountered a similar event on Through the Inferno - Sinai last week, but there were a bunch of Roland units that were near the base I was taking off from, and they were all transmitting. So yeah, I wasn't surprised I was getting pinged a bunch of times about it.

If it is only one or two threats that are continuously transmitting, then that would be a problem if those same threats are being repeated. If they are turning on and off, then that might also cause such behavior.

Afterburners are for wussies...hang around the battlefield and dodge tracers like a man.

Here is a short track of me taking off from the FARP, flying out a bit and then heading back in.  It looks like there are 4 units in the Roland group with radars, so maybe I am getting 4x the number of warnings I would if it were just a single SA-8 or something?  This is on SPQR Caucasus, taking off from the FARP in Sector 14.

It does repeat the same units as I fly toward them and over them, and the position call-outs seem a little delayed.  For example, I fly over them and the RWR is still calling them as 12 o'clock.

Should the same group be triggering multiple times within such a short time-frame and without having lost LOS to the threat?

(On a side note, at one point you see me zooming into my right MPD where I had brought up the ASE overlay on the video window using my touchscreen monitor with Helios.  For some reason the track didn't pick up those button presses, so it doesn't show the ASE page.  This may be a new bug with 2.9 and the way the tracks were changed as I'm pretty sure that used to work in older tracks.)

I just created a test mission with a similar Roland group and an air spawn and the RWR called each of the 4 units out once, then never again.  Maybe it's something with how that mission is setup, or with the number of units in the mission?

Hi @Floyd1212

I bet there's an issue with that mission, yeah. I counted at least 15 Roland batteries, plus some other SAMs, that's just an overwhelming amount of threats for the RLWR to process at once. I seems the system is just cycling through all detected stations and will eventually stop once all are reported. This mission is also incredibly heavy, my PC was struggling to keep up, btw.

I tested a simple mission myself with two Roland batteries and was unable to reproduce the issue. The RLWR will report each (if tracking) and again when they come online to intercept a threat or I come out of terrain masking.
