Normandy 2.0 vs The Channel maps

A general question on creating ww2 missions regarding the amount of work involved?

Should one prefer the Normandy 2 map over the Channel, as latter might not be 'maintained' anymore (?).

If you are into multiplayer, you should definitly go for Normandy.
