Hi,

As of now, the dcs_updater.exe binary is still located in the "bin/" folder.

I'm pretty sure it will never be moved to the "bin-mt/" folder for a simple reason: someday, DCS ST will no longer exist (when all MT-related issues will be fixed, I presume), and DCS MT will be relocated to /bin.

Sorry, are you telling me its in the normal folder Open beta folder and not inside the MT folder? Is my understanding correct?

Hi @gizmo
I encourage you to try Skatezilla's excellent GUI Updater/Launcher Utility for DCS. While it has a ton of features it really makes updating and repairs very easy!
Cheers!

Absolutely! My pleasure!

Start the app, and right click on any slot.

Select the root path. NOT the bin folder.

If it doesn't find the Saved Games path, add it. (You could add it manually in any case).

You can name the slots if you want.

This app doesn't have an "Apply/OK" button. So to save the settings, you need to manually close it. Do that now, start up the app again. And you're done.

Cheers!
