You have installed the source code zip files rather than the dcs2target.zip and TMHotasLEDSync.zip. You must remove the "-main" folders as they are not part of the toolset.

You only need to install the files contained within dcs2target.zip and TMHotasLEDSync.zip per the instructions on the GitHub pages for each file:

How does this look @slughead

Almost. You have all the .tmh and .tmc files left over in the hooks folder from your previous installation. They can stay there although it isn't an appropriate place for them.

You should place those in a folder of their own that isn't part of DCS, e.g. C:\Users\Darren\TargetScripts\THHotasLEDSync\

dcs2target.lua must remain in the Hooks folder.

All the best,

Slughead

Thanks @slughead I'll make some further tweaks to file location.

Just did another test flight and all worked great with one small issue - the airbrake indicator - only the left-hand bank of LEDs illuminated.

Excellent. We got there in the end.

That's intentional. The other column has been left spare for future development.

Perfect one other tinnnnnyyyy thing….

The Threat Warning Aux button (top right) isn’t illuminating:

I draw your attention to the third paragraph of the first post of this thread 😉

Ah. Thanks for pointing me to that mate.

Can I just say a massive thank you to you for not only creating the scripts and instructions to support this on the Viper TQS but also for being super responsive in this thread.

Truly appreciated - absolute credit to the community!!

Done a step by step tutorial to get the LEDs working. I've credited you and tigershark. Should help promote your work!

Really great stuff. Do you have any further plans for the 2nd column? (for the F16)

In your video you mentioned trying the other files such as A10. You should not try this and if you do, it won’t work anyway. These files are used automatically by the main script depending on which aircraft you decide to fly in DCS. Please stick to the instructions. Please consider updating your video accordingly or you’re likely to cause me to engage in unnecessary support requests using up the little spare time that I have.

rgr. I'll update the description and post a comment. Done reddit and youtube comments and descriptions.

"Hi all. The author of the mod has informed me that for now - ONLY USE the file I use in the video: "TMHotasLEDSync.tmc." for the F-16C. The MOD is a WIP. So stay tuned for updates. Keep an eye out for them on the GitHub pages."

Sorry I missed that I'm currently running the Target Software Version 3.0.24.618 and I think it's failing even before the DCS Launch when I try to run the script the log is getting this for the script editor. The lights on the pack will be on prior to the start of the script but once I hit run it turns off and this happens.

Running script: F:\Program FIles\Eagle Dynamics\Thrustmaster Scripts\TMHotasLEDSync.tmc
Mapped plugin module "C:\Program Files (x86)\Thrustmaster\TARGET\Plugins\sys.dll"
Compile Succeeded.

TMHotasLEDSync v1.0.4

Physical USB HID devices managed by script!
Currently plugged USB HID devices[2]:
1: "Joystick - HOTAS Warthog" - "USB\VID_044F&PID_0402&REV_0100"
2: "Viper TQS" - "USB\VID_044F&PID_0412&REV_0200"
USB HID device with hardware id "VID_044F&PID_0404" cannot be found
Installing filter driver to VID_044F&PID_0412. Please Wait...Script stopped!
Done!
Error:(internal) cannot associate a filter with the selected USB HID device "VID_044F&PID_0412"

Runtime Error: STOP request received while running main on line 63 in "F:\Program FIles\Eagle Dynamics\Thrustmaster Scripts\TMHotasLEDSync.tmc"
Error:Script run timed out!

Followed the steps in the reddit thread but still having the same repeat issues the only one I didn't see from the thread though was VID_044F&PID_B679. Unless I'm getting the instructions wrong. Anymore advice will be helpful if not at least all the buttons work I'll just be missing the LEDs.XD

It's worked for others on this thread. Maybe you missed something. Either way, this is a Thrustmaster/Windows problem. You will need to raise this with Thrustmaster for further support. You'll probably have the same problem with a Thrustmaster-supplied script.

I pretty much removed and retried everything and tried doing one of the things of leaving everything unplugged and then starting the script and that seems to at least get the script running and I see it actuating when I use the speed brakes or the handle but the lights don't actuate not sure if this is still thrustmaster windows but  just figured I'd try and at least put this here incase someone has my same issue.
