Miro Posted November 18, 2023 Posted November 18, 2023 Can someone take a look why?dcs.log Thanks :pilotfly:
Flappie Posted November 18, 2023 Posted November 18, 2023 Hi Miro. There is no crash at the end of your log. It looks like a freeze, which means there's no clue in the log file. Check Windows Event Viewer at the time of the crash (look into the "Software" and "System" events). You may find a clue. ---
Miro Posted November 18, 2023 Author Posted November 18, 2023 There's also nothing special there... Can mods like A-4, and sound mod for mig-21 cause this freeze? :pilotfly:
Flappie Posted November 18, 2023 Posted November 18, 2023 (edited) Here a list of things that helped users with "eternal" freeze in the past: Clear GPU shader cache Disable Tacview Disable USB hotplug Disable Windows HAGS Disable scripts called in Export.lua Uninstall your GPU driver using DDU, then install a fresh one Reinstall NVMe drivers (EVO 970) + Uninstall Razer software Try running DCS with all unneeded drives unplugged, and especially HDDs Reseat SATA cables Remove faulty drive or replace SATA cable Empty "C:\Users\...\AppData\Local\Temp\DCS..." folder Custom pagefile + clear NV_Cache + disable NVIDIA Shaders cache Rename Saved Games\DCS folder to get a new one (twice!) Uninstall Razer Synapse 3 Avoid plugging an USB hub on a USB 3.1 port Edited November 18, 2023 by Flappie ---
