Currenthill MiG-29MU2.1.4.0 - DCS build 2.8.7 42718

Hi,

I downloaded the full set of mods. Mainly for the RN ships. But hey download fever struck!! Placed a couple of type 45 destroyers on the map. Ran the mission and they had disappeared. Nothing on F10. All other CH assets appear to have the same behaviour apart from the aircraft. Tried USING CVN-71 and that disappeared after mission activation and my Hornet went straight down into the depths.

So thought about a trial and error approach. And disabled all the mods and reactivated in small groups. 

The culprit was the MIG-29MU2.1.4.0.

I did check and could not find any other reports of problems.

I have the same issue, just remove this addon and have no problem.

I don't have the same issue. And if I were to take a guess: the MiG-29MU2 1.4.0 is updated to reflect DCS 2.9 changes, in this case I had to migrate the JDAM-ER to a different weapon scheme due to changes ED made. And my guess is that you need 2.9 to support this. 

I do all my development and testing on the latest DCS OB version. And it is impossible to guarantee any backwards compatibility due to the nature of things in DCS.

Stable version just updated to 2.9 so try it out and see if it helps

Thanks for the feedback. I had run out of disk space so was unable download the Beta version. I thought 1.5TB was enough for a new PC. Wrong there grandpa. . Extra 2TB arriving today.. Will report back.
