Nielis Posted December 6, 2023 Posted December 6, 2023 (edited) Hi Guys, this week I bought my new system (see specs). After installing DCS 2.9 open beta I have a lot of tearing/latency. Can anybody advise how to improve my settings? Edited December 6, 2023 by Nielis My Pictures at: http://vortex-images.com/
Nielis Posted December 6, 2023 Author Posted December 6, 2023 I tried switching on VSync but has no effect My Pictures at: http://vortex-images.com/
Hiob Posted December 6, 2023 Posted December 6, 2023 Is v-sync activated in the gpu-driver? (I have no experience with AMD gpus, so just some guesses). Is your monitor freesync capable? "Muß ich denn jedes Mal, wenn ich sauge oder saugblase den Schlauchstecker in die Schlauchnut schieben?"
speed-of-heat Posted December 6, 2023 Posted December 6, 2023 windows 11? make sure you have done this: Options to Optimize Gaming Performance in Windows 11 - Microsoft Support make sure you aren't running through the iGPU, disable in BIOS works well, there may be other approaches, is the memory running at its XMP (or whatever it is AMD use) profile ? Nielis Posted December 8, 2023 Author Posted December 8, 2023 I found out that when switching off the TAA antialiasing, and therefore switching FSR off aswell. The problem is gone, MSAA antialiasing does not create the same issues. My Pictures at: http://vortex-images.com/
