rkk01 Posted December 8, 2023 Posted December 8, 2023 Have only used ME to build relatively simple SP missions… … but playing around with SA map and want AI redfor strike packages to use terrain masking to keep out of radar detection for as long as possible is there a preset for, say, terrain + xm, or is that way too ambitious???
razo+r Posted December 8, 2023 Posted December 8, 2023 No. The best option you have is to set the waypoints as low as possible. But be aware though, the AI likes to fly into the ground. As an alternative, you could turn them invisible until a certain criteria is met then turn them visible again.

Turning invisible could solve my problem. How do you do that, please? [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]

Unfortunately, I suspected as much… (especially the flying into the ground bit) … but one of the standout features of the historical air strikes on this map were the extreme low level flight profiles Edited December 8, 2023 by rkk01

That could work...but can I link to a trigger zone instead (because it's actually a moving trigger zone I want to use) [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
razo+r Posted December 11, 2023 Posted December 11, 2023 Yeah, you can assign conditions to the invisible task. Like for example, if unit in (movable) zone, set flag, and at the invisible task, if flag X = true, turn on, if flag X not true, turn off. Or something like that.
