I_Gamer Posted December 13, 2023 Posted December 13, 2023 There is a flag in the autoexec.cfg file that allows a sound-editor dialogue to appear in-game, which allows a user to re-load SDEF files without having to re-start DCS. That function has stopped working for me since the launch of 2.9 Was this intended to be disabled or is this a bug? As a creator, this has saved me countless hours of having to restart DCS each time I make an adjustment. For both mods and 3rd party development. Flappie Posted December 13, 2023 Posted December 13, 2023 I had never heard of it before. Could you please attach your autoexec.cfg file? ---

(Ideally, the sdef directory would be accessible and editable again, and wav files would still be inaccessible.) Edited October 5, 2024 by Laci836
Laci836 Posted July 30, 2024 Posted July 30, 2024 (edited) Return to DCS 2.8.7.42718 the small window comes up With DCS 2.8 I tried the Reload SDEFs function, it's better than before,no need to respawn, the sound is updated during the game. It would be great if it works under 2.9 too. Edited October 5, 2024 by Laci836
