Balu Posted April 13, 2009 Posted April 13, 2009 Hi Yoda I don´t know if it is to late for suggestions, but would it be possible to deactivate the autopilots for squad internal training events?
RvEYoda Posted April 13, 2009 Author Posted April 13, 2009 updated the link....bad link :) S = SPARSE(m,n) abbreviates SPARSE([],[],[],m,n,0). This generates the ultimate sparse matrix, an m-by-n all zero matrix. - Matlab help on 'sparse'
Boberro Posted April 13, 2009 Posted April 13, 2009 Wow nice feature, do u plan to mount it also on RU birds? Reminder: Fighter pilots make movies. Bomber pilots make... HISTORY! :D | Also to be remembered: FRENCH TANKS HAVE ONE GEAR FORWARD AND FIVE BACKWARD :D ಠ_ಠ ツ
RvEYoda Posted April 13, 2009 Author Posted April 13, 2009 Wow nice feature, do u plan to mount it also on RU birds? Do they have a feature similar to this in real life? The US version they have is a little different from my implementation, but it's the closest I can get with what lockon allows me to do. S = SPARSE(m,n) abbreviates SPARSE([],[],[],m,n,0). This generates the ultimate sparse matrix, an m-by-n all zero matrix. - Matlab help on 'sparse'
Boberro Posted April 13, 2009 Posted April 13, 2009 Do they have a feature similar to this in real life? Dunno :P Maybe somebody else well equipped wiith RU technlogy know that :) Reminder: Fighter pilots make movies. Bomber pilots make... HISTORY! :D | Also to be remembered: FRENCH TANKS HAVE ONE GEAR FORWARD AND FIVE BACKWARD :D ಠ_ಠ ツ
Kuky Posted April 13, 2009 Posted April 13, 2009 I read recently that F-15 radar in TWS mode actually has smaller volume scan compared to RWS but this is not the case in Lockon. No longer active in DCS...
RvEYoda Posted April 13, 2009 Author Posted April 13, 2009 (edited) yep, i read the same. Unfortunately we cannot change this in lockon =( Thanks to Jetfire for making the flashing strobe lights mod. That code showed me how to make the cursor snap happen after a key press. Edited April 13, 2009 by =RvE=Yoda S = SPARSE(m,n) abbreviates SPARSE([],[],[],m,n,0). RvEYoda Posted April 15, 2009 Author Posted April 15, 2009 Test server public in HL. Try it if you like. expect bugs ;) S = SPARSE(m,n) abbreviates SPARSE([],[],[],m,n,0). This generates the ultimate sparse matrix, an m-by-n all zero matrix. - Matlab help on 'sparse'
Udat Posted April 15, 2009 Posted April 15, 2009 Found that migs and flanker wouldn't spool at all. The needle just got a small nudge, then back to zero after a second. Also flaps or brakes were impossible to operate on them. Intel i7-950 @stock, Asus P6X58D-E, 3x4GB Corsair Vengeance, Asus GTX 580, Corsair 120GB SSD, Corsair HX 750W PSU [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
GGTharos Posted April 15, 2009 Posted April 15, 2009 Sounds like what happens when you load an unacceptable payload. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Reminder: SAM = Speed Bump :D I used to play flight sims like you, but then I took a slammer to the knee - Yoda
RvEYoda Posted April 15, 2009 Author Posted April 15, 2009 neg, was a bug, its fixed now :) but you write this post WAY after it has been fixed (?) what payload did you load in with? S = SPARSE(m,n) abbreviates SPARSE([],[],[],m,n,0). This generates the ultimate sparse matrix, an m-by-n all zero matrix. - Matlab help on 'sparse'
Udat Posted April 15, 2009 Posted April 15, 2009 My mistake then, I tried your server yesterday. And I used the payload that said "don't change." Intel i7-950 @stock, Asus P6X58D-E, 3x4GB Corsair Vengeance, Asus GTX 580, Corsair 120GB SSD, Corsair HX 750W PSU [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
RvEYoda Posted April 16, 2009 Author Posted April 16, 2009 yep then that bug is now fixed ;). Beta server for a reason. Bugs everywhere XD S = SPARSE(m,n) abbreviates SPARSE([],[],[],m,n,0). This generates the ultimate sparse matrix, an m-by-n all zero matrix. - Matlab help on 'sparse'
RvEYoda Posted April 16, 2009 Author Posted April 16, 2009 Keep reporting problems. Better to find it now than after the release S = SPARSE(m,n) abbreviates SPARSE([],[],[],m,n,0). This generates the ultimate sparse matrix, an m-by-n all zero matrix. - Matlab help on 'sparse'
nemises Posted April 16, 2009 Posted April 16, 2009 tried to join the beta LRM server yesterday , and connected fine, but was unable to select any plane! Tried both sides, and all slots, but it would not assign me an aircraft and enable "fly". will try again today if it comes up.
RvEYoda Posted April 16, 2009 Author Posted April 16, 2009 tried to join the beta LRM server yesterday , and connected fine, but was unable to select any plane! Tried both sides, and all slots, but it would not assign me an aircraft and enable "fly". will try again today if it comes up. I think this usually happens if the server is loading a new mission, or currently in the menus selecting it. For how long did you try to select a plane? S = SPARSE(m,n) abbreviates SPARSE([],[],[],m,n,0). This generates the ultimate sparse matrix, an m-by-n all zero matrix. - Matlab help on 'sparse'
nemises Posted April 16, 2009 Posted April 16, 2009 seceral minutes, and I have just tried again with the same effect. This time, I also see 15 or 25 "unknowns" sitting in spectator.
104th_Crunch Posted April 16, 2009 Posted April 16, 2009 This time, I also see 15 or 25 "unknowns" sitting in spectator. Sounds like an error within Lock On running on the server. Seen it before. Server needs to be restarted.
RvEYoda Posted April 16, 2009 Author Posted April 16, 2009 Much like Crunch said...when I got home, server needed a restart. I'll keep it off for a while and do some updates S = SPARSE(m,n) abbreviates SPARSE([],[],[],m,n,0). This generates the ultimate sparse matrix, an m-by-n all zero matrix. - Matlab help on 'sparse'
nemises Posted April 17, 2009 Posted April 17, 2009 ^^ yep, all good now, logged on last night and could spool and everything ! ;)
RvEYoda Posted April 17, 2009 Author Posted April 17, 2009 Test server in HL is now running a much smaller mission, Socchi v Krasnodar, with an rwr mod i made, this mod is not part of lrm, it's just for fun. lrm 2 i also running on the server S = SPARSE(m,n) abbreviates SPARSE([],[],[],m,n,0). This generates the ultimate sparse matrix, an m-by-n all zero matrix. - Matlab help on 'sparse'
104th_Crunch Posted April 17, 2009 Posted April 17, 2009 I will give it a flight Yoda, thanks!!! So, what does the RWR mod for fun do?
RvEYoda Posted April 17, 2009 Author Posted April 17, 2009 I will give it a flight Yoda, thanks!!! So, what does the RWR mod for fun do? Basically runs the maple flag rwr. Meaning scan/nails not detected until around 55 km. STT spikes around 70-80 km with sound and 130 km visual only S = SPARSE(m,n) abbreviates SPARSE([],[],[],m,n,0). This generates the ultimate sparse matrix, an m-by-n all zero matrix. - Matlab help on 'sparse'
