Ghost79 Posted December 19, 2023 Posted December 19, 2023 (edited) Can i clarify which are the correct takeoff timings? Actual in-game start time is about 01:15, but stated takeoff time according to the mission briefing is 03:30, is this correct? This means waiting on the ground for 2 hours, which if i try and wait, my wingman taxi's out and departs anyway. I know you said no filters etc, so am i really expected to wait until 0330? Solution Reflected Posted December 19, 2023 Solution Posted December 19, 2023 The in game time is UTC so it’s 2 hours behind local time. Yes, in WW2 the UK was in a different time zone. Facebook Instagram YouTube Discord
Ghost79 Posted December 19, 2023 Author Posted December 19, 2023 Fair enough, just wanted to check before i sit and wait 2 hours and look a right idiot! Youtube channel @Flightenvy680
Sydy Posted December 21, 2023 Posted December 21, 2023 Hi @Reflected, Awesome mission 1! The leader took off without waiting for my thumbs up… I had to turn the icons to find him… Other than that, it was awesome! Sydy

megabutter Posted January 31, 2024 Posted January 31, 2024 I’m having a hard time with this mission for a different reason. Just purchased the campaign; tried the first mission but got stuck starting the plane. Every time I hit the starter switch, I get a “clear prop” message, but I can’t figure how to clear the prop. I hit the switch a couple more times and get the message some more. What is the procedure to clear the prop so the starter switch activates? Thanks!
Reflected Posted January 31, 2024 Posted January 31, 2024 Clear prop means ‘Everyone get away from the plane, I’m starting the engine’ . You do this in a Cessna too. 1 Facebook Instagram YouTube Discord
megabutter Posted January 31, 2024 Posted January 31, 2024 I know the phrase, just not how to move past it in game. I’m unable to start the engine because of the “clear prop” message that my starter switch is activating instead of then propeller. Thanks!
