Mission 01 - Blue 1 in a hurry.

Hi @Reflected,

The only bug I found on mission 01 was that the Cobweb Blue 01 does not wait for my thumbs up for takeoff. I had to turn on the icon (I hate it… lol) so I could find him.

AAAH MAAAN....

Sometime in the last few days before the update and the release, something changed. Now the player doesn't spawn where he's assigned to, so no wonder the whole taxi order is a mess. I'm beyond p*ssed, how can Ugra pull something like this just before release?!

I'm now testing what exactly they messed up. Great...

Holy sh*t, actually in most missions planes don't spawn at the spot where they're assigned to... Of course, everyone will still take off and the mission will work, but not the taxi logic, the thumbs up, etc...

UPDATE: Looks like Ugra changed the parknig position numbers at Kenley at the last moment, and the missions didn't get automatically updated, and it messed everytihng up. Now I'm resaving the position of every unit in every mission, and will push ED to include it in the next patch or hotfix. Needless to say I'm beyond furious. And of course people don't go to Ugra saying "Hey you messed up your parknig spots" but they come to me saying "hey the campaign is messed up". Great...

Thanks for the report though, well spotted. I really didn't think I had to retest the campaign for the 156th time a few days before release....

 

UPDATE: I resaved every unit in every mission which solved the problem, and I submitted the changes to ED. I hope they'll push it in a hotfix, fingers crossed.

I knew something was weird…

I am used to your design and you are very precise on instructions.
Anyway, I was able to salvage my Mission 1 by opening the icons momentarily so I could locate my flight. Hopefully I will be able to edit and upload my first mission… 1h45 will be too much. I will try to cut it short.
