cannot reproduce No Communications Menu

Hi Just recently I lost access to the communications menu in all my aircraft. I will hit the bound keys on my joy stick and keyboard and the menu will not materialize. I believe I just had an update. I have tried all avenues and nothing works. Does anyone have any ideas how I can solve this problem. Thank you.

I had similar thing a while ago. If you have any mod's disable them and try again in the first instance.

Hi. Thanks for the reply. No I don't have any mods. I do have voice attack and vaicom. But I disabled them The problem still persisted.

The next thing I would suggest is do a repair.

Are you referring to the "communication menu" with the default keybind "\"? If yes, stop using that keybind, as it's only for ground comms and don't work in the air. Start using the correct keybinds for the PTTs, which has the default keybind "RAlt + \" for most single PTT modules. For modules with multiple PTTs, you have to check the keybinds in the controls settings.
VoiceAttack/VAICOM does not affect this.

"\" hasn't been working in the air for over a year, unless one used Easy Comms, which might have been discontinued too. I've never used it. But it should work on the ground. Maybe I was wrong and you have menus hidden in VAICOM. Then the menu will not show for obvious reasons. To fix, start VoiceAttack, enable show menus in VAICOM control panel. Close VoiceAttack, and then start DCS. (Unless you have deactivated VAICOM, or deactivated plugin support in VoiceAttack. VAICOM will always start and do its thing whenever you start VoiceAttack). If that fix doesn't work. Close VoiceAttack, and do a full repair of DCS.
Anyway, PTTs should always work whether your in the air or on the ground, unless the menu is hidden.

I have that problem since a long time and can't find why.

Thanks to Maxsenna, it seems that Viacom is the problem. As soon i run Voice Attack, even if Viacom is not selected, i lost the com menu.

But i didn't hide the menu in Vaicom.

Here are my settings.

Search in the Viacom subforum.  There was an issue way back with an old version of Viacom causing issues if it hadn't been uninstalled (even if you weren't using it).
