Gentoo87
Trying to find out what the use and updated indicator the "ref wp" in the APMCD does?
Solution Tholozor Posted December 23, 2023 Solution Share Posted December 23, 2023 (edited) By default, when selecting the GRID option for MGRS coordinate entry for waypoints, the right DDI will initialize the 5x5 Square Identification Grid (SIG) centered on the aircraft's current position. If the REF WP option is boxed, the SIG will be centered on the grid of that waypoint. oldcrusty
I'll be damn, I always thought that this was related to keeping your current selected steerpoint unchanged when flipping through different waypoints on DATA page and or editing them. If REFWP is unboxed, every time the up/down arrow is pressed the current steerpoint is changed to whatever is selected on DATA page. Just checked how it works here and looks like you're right... I think.
