thurstmaster hotas cougar problems help plis

hello. from start i apologize for my enghlis and bad writing. so i bought a tm hotas cougar for my self with the throttle and been loving it today. well end of the day i disconnected the hotas because i dont have mutch space on my desc. and when i came back to connect it back i was hoding the trigger the same time i pluged it in and now my pc wont regocnise any of the buttons or axels

 

if you could help i would be gradefull

You should ask in the thrustmaster sub-forum, this is for controls from Total Controls.

I'm not completely sure, as this has never happened to me, but I believe that you placed the unit on firmware upgrade mode.

Here is a small guide I once wrote, on how to install the Cougar drivers, try it out to see if it helps the PC to recognize the device:

By pressing the trigger while plugging in, you've deleted the Cougar's firmware.

Helpful when you encounter an otherwise unsolvable issue, not so helpful if you don't know about it.

 

Here is the solution:

 

Download and install Hotas Cougar Foxy v4.0 HOTAS Cougar - Thrustmaster - Technical support website

Run Foxy, go to Cougar in the menu bar and click on Flash upgrade / Update firmware to re-flash.

Job done.
