Flying_Osprey Posted January 7, 2024 Posted January 7, 2024 I've been trying to get the mirage f1 past mach 1.4 in strait and level flight at 40'000ft. I keep running into 2 event either the plane starts to shake and the engine flames out or it just stops accelerating. the only way i've been able to achieve mach 1.6+ is to dive 5000ft+ and then climb back up again.is this supposed to happen or is this just the module being in development? F1 supersonic run.trk
fausete Posted January 7, 2024 Posted January 7, 2024 (edited) Hi, which map is this on (and which version)? Would it be possible to test the same in the Caucasus? Edited January 7, 2024 by fausete
IvanK Posted January 7, 2024 Posted January 7, 2024 (edited) No issues getting Mach 2+ at 40,000' Caucus map clean F1CE level Accel started at M0.9 Are your Souris in Auto .... Souris Mach indicator should be following actual Mach Edited January 8, 2024 by IvanK

Be aware that the plane is pretty hard to get at very high, you need a lot of initial speed to achieve Mach 2.2 My Setup : i5-4690 3.50GHz + 24GB RAM DDR3 1600MHz + MSI RTX 2060 Super Ventus OC + 2 SSD + 4 HDD + Oculus Rift CV1 + TM T.16000M Hotas Super Etendard for Life !
IvanK Posted January 10, 2024 Posted January 10, 2024 Rutowski climb and accelerations are your friend, level accels are inefficient. 1
