Yskonyn Posted April 6, 2009 Posted April 6, 2009 Hi there gents, I was fooling around a bit in DCS while designing and testing my X-52 profile. The two screenshots included in this thread are an example of two rather funny things I discovered while playing around. One shows my attempt to land on the flat-bed carriage of the train while it was moving along its track. While I came very close to actually land I discovered that the train will stop moving once you touch one of the rolling stock or the locomotive. This certainly killed my goal of landing on a moving train, but I wanted to see if it was possible anyway, but unfortunately you will drop through the flat-bed carriage onto the track when you try to land on it. Funny nonetheless! The other picture shows me (the pilot) taking a walk around the shunting area of a nearby train depot to take a look at the armored vehicles on top of the train. You can see the KA-50 parked on top of the building. Quite funny as I didn't know it was possible to walk around! So I thought I'd share my few moments of joy and awe with you all! ;) Happy flying! If they would continue you could really practise your flying skills! I thought that was the problem and therefore what's being fixed.

Get a TU-160 landing on the tarmac and while it's taxiing, shoot 3 rounds of the KA-50 cannon at it. It will suddently go from 10 mph to something like 200 before exploding....
