Gunfreak Posted February 9, 2024 Posted February 9, 2024 Technically not a bug, but there is no Wishlist. You can only bind cut off not idle. I can make a work around, if I use the cut off back and froth a few times with engine off, then it will also work as idle. But other modules have their own button presses for idle. and for me with Winwing super tarus, it would be great to use those built inn idle swiches. i7 13700k @5.2ghz, GTX 5090 OC, 128Gig ram 4800mhz DDR5, M2 drive.
RustBelt Posted February 9, 2024 Posted February 9, 2024 Idle is the opposite of cutoff. Whatever you have set for cutoff, the opposite of doing that gives you Idle. 1

I can start the aircraft cold and wiggle the throttle back and forth between off and idle. And then the bind will work for idle. But there is no way to start the aircraft cold with throttle in off and just move it once into idle. That's because there isn't a separate bind for idle like there is in most other DCS jets. i7 13700k @5.2ghz, GTX 5090 OC, 128Gig ram 4800mhz DDR5, M2 drive.
RustBelt Posted February 9, 2024 Posted February 9, 2024 Oh, yea that goes back to the whole “Match HOTAS switches” or whatever setting that never works. I run a Warthog and I have to leave it out of cutoff detent when spawning in. Then click it down into Cutoff after the plane loads in because on the Warthog they’re “held” buttons in cutoff. Also prevents issues when spawning in HOT or in the air.
