Anyone else notice this minor sound bug?

First of all this sim is amazing, loving it so far. I have noticed a minor sound bug and was wondering if anyone else had noticed it as well. When first entering the cockpit, the engine and rotor sound as if the door is open(this happens whether you do a cold start or the engines are already going) toggling to external F2 and then the cockpit F1 view immediately fixes this and the sounds again sound as they should when inside a closed cockpit. Has anyone else noticed this?

Yes, there are numerous threads about this problem. Hopefully will be fixed with the patch.

You can also open and close the door for a similar effect.

Yes it sucks, I find it quite a big problem because when I do the "fix" (switching views) the engines sound weird afterwards, like there is some kind of phasing or Doppler effect on them and it doesn't go away until you load a new mission.

Anyone have try it with the new Patch? Or is there a fix for this Problem? I have the same Problems with my German Version of BS. I had a Realtek onboard Sound and actualy a cheap Hercules Soundcard, but this Sound comes Back after 1 hour Playing without Problems.

This problem has been around since the original lockon, its a problem of the engine, it'll never go away (atleast I doubt it.)

A fix for this is realteks 3d sound back or if your using creative card, use creative alchemy. It's a problem in Vista & Win7. You can use search to find info on this, lots of threads.

I would love to see a fix or upgrade to the sound engine, but it's been like this for...5 years or so? I'm pretty sure same problem will persist with A-10, I don't think it something they care to fix, otherwise im sure over half a decade they would of done it by now lol
