Ramstein Posted February 16, 2024 Author Posted February 16, 2024 (edited) my log file DCS refuses to run and crashes starting this morning at midnight. I see that someone figured out is was the VR fools at FB, Meta who frakked us all, they caused this Fiasco! I hope no one ever buys their products! I wish I had not. Sorry for posting in here thinking DCS was the cause... dcs.log Edited February 16, 2024 by Ramstein ASUS Strix Z790-H, i9-13900, WartHog HOTAS and MFG Crosswind G.Skill 64 GB Ram, 2TB SSD EVGA Nvidia RTX 2080-TI (trying to hang on for a bit longer) 55" Sony OLED TV, Oculus VR

hairbear29 Posted February 17, 2024 Posted February 17, 2024 I turned off "public test channel" in the oculus software then let it download and reinstall the stable version and the problem was solved very happy!

That's only a temporary solution though. Meta forced Steam to change their VR code in the last couple of weeks. I expect they expect all VR companies to follow suit. It's only a matter of weeks before Meta push this change out to everyone whether or not they are on the PTC. Slugmouse: a finger-mounted mouse button emulator for hand-tracked VR cockpit clicking.
