cannot help without a track file HTS pod locking issue

I’m starting with the HTS pod on the F-16. I want to use it it locate a sam site, tms up to lock which slews the tgp to the area then finetune. But whatever I try, the HTS won’t lock on using tms up. The display is SOI. I dont have HARM missile installed, I want to use the HTS just for locating and giving location to TGP. Should be possible, right?

Should be possible. Do you have a short track?

I haven’t saved track file yet. In my practice mission I have a SAM site quite close by. I can try to get there quick, and try the lock on would that help?

Yes, as long as you don't do the startup and all that stuff, it would help. An airspawn would be most appreciated, unless you can only reproduce the "bug" with a ground start of course.

I think I found it. I can’t lock when the DED page is on MARK. 
after I return - dobber left - I can lock in the HST, and one one occasion I found the site in the TGP.

I also have the same issue
unabe to lock HTS  

There seems to be a problem when installing HTS with re-arm from empty

This seems to be correct. I also enter the mark point before takeoff and do not RTN in DED

after learning a bit more about the Mark Points feature, it makes sense. When the Mark page is active, TMS Up has a different function then setting SPI; with the Mark page active TMS Up sets the Mark point
