Northstar98 Posted February 23, 2024 Posted February 23, 2024 (edited) Hi everyone, I've noticed that the HQ-16 SAM is behaving quite oddly: After burnout has occured, so long as the missile is unloaded, it will continue to accelerate (even in a climb). The HHQ-9 missile also suffers from this issue, though to an even more extreme degree. The missile continues to climb despite aiming downwards, even at fairly significant pitch angles (in excess of 15° below the horizon, even its rocket engine still firing). Spoiler Also included at the end of this track is a problem relating to the H/PJ-12 (Type 730) CIWS. Their firing arcs appear swapped (meaning that not only are they facing inwards, aiming at the smoke stack, but the port-side gun will only fire at targets to starboard and vice-versa, firing through the smoke stack. This has been reported in this thread, but the problem is more than just a visual glitch. Red_Camarada Posted February 25, 2024 Posted February 25, 2024 HHQ-9 and HQ-16 missiles are indeed accelerating with no aerodymanic boundries. I was able to reproduce it. 1
