davidrbarnette
I finished the Hunters Over the Yalu campaign today. I scored five kills over the course with zero deaths, which feels like a major accomplishment. Overall I really enjoyed it. I didn't necessarily love the ground pounder missions in the beginning, but the MiG-hunting missions made up for it. I definitely learned to use lag-pursuit while chasing MiGs, and to be patient. Pulling and yanking on the stick bleeds way too much energy in the Sabre, leaving you a sitting duck for MiGs. Another great campaign by Reflected. Reflected
Hi David, Thanks for posting here, congratulations on completing the campaign. Zero deaths that's the biggest accomplishment in any of my campaigns, so well done. Good call about lag pursuit. I'm often impatient, pull to hard and run out of energy haha. Unfortunately DCS has very few assets that I can work with in a Korean War scenario, there's no way I could have made 12 A2A missions interesting, so that's why I opted for splitting the campaign in 2 'chapters' and adding A2G as well. Thanks again for the support! Edited February 24 by Reflected 1 Facebook Instagram YouTube Discord
