Aussie_Mantis Posted February 26, 2024 Posted February 26, 2024 Hi guys. TrackIR is already set up properly and in every other game I can already see past 90 degrees vertically. Why can't I do this in DCS? Is there a hardcoded gimbal limit at 90 degrees up? Mantis
SharpeXB Posted February 26, 2024 Posted February 26, 2024 I think there is a “realistic” limit in the game. Try turning your shoulders and looking back like you’d do IRL. Many years ago it was possible to look “up” 180d until you saw the tail of the plane, it was actually quite awkward. What they have now is better. 1 i9-14900KS | ASUS ROG MAXIMUS Z790 HERO | 64GB DDR5 5600MHz | iCUE H150i Liquid CPU Cooler | ASUS TUF GeForce RTX 4090 OC | Windows 11 Home | 2TB Samsung 980 PRO NVMe | Corsair RM1000x | LG 48GQ900-B 4K OLED Monitor | CH Fighterstick | Ch Pro Throttle | CH Pro Pedals | TrackIR 5

Mantis Yes, per default there is a limit. I think you can adjust the limits in the server.lua in savegames/.../config/view..... but I'm not 100% sure from the top of my had. And it will probably break IC if you want to play online. Depending on the server. "Muß ich denn jedes Mal, wenn ich sauge oder saugblase den Schlauchstecker in die Schlauchnut schieben?"
