How to make AWACS only report same group only one time

AWACS keeps repeating the same group position over and over again, without even a break. Is there a way to make it only report once? or a better way to set picture frequency, such as 1 report per 60 second on the same group. Thanks.

I've found if you get them to report something else, or even check in with your homebase, it shuts them up.

But a proper way to do this must come from ED. So I wouldn't bank on it anytime soon.

Thanks man, I guess AWACS is like babies, you need some distraction to stop them crying.

Anyway, I hope ED could simply add a reply item such as "copy/roger" in the AWACS sub-menu to stop the loop.  @BIGNEWY @NineLine

Allegedly they are rewriting the whole comms system. I can only hope that they add new script commands and much more functionality and interactivity, as well as a comms radial menu that you can bind to controls rather than F keys in the new system... but you know Pandora's box... hope was the worst thing that came out.

Still, I think they implied it would be this year...

Is this also working in multiplayer? Everybody must it install?

It was working in multiplayer the last I knew. It must be installed for each client to use the new functionality.

Be careful with github - it's been hacked and a lot of repos have malware injected in them.

These are LUA files, not EXE files, but safety first I suppose.
