Reprogramming to Slugpad with the instructions supplied was straight forward - in some way. Windows 11 23H2 / Bluetooth & Devices calls them now Slugpad Left and Right with a Nintendo-style gamepad as icon. However, no new game controller in Game Controllers (Joy.cpl) or DCS, so unable to use in any way. Unpair the devices in Windows, then repair them. Pair only one at a time, or Windows will get confused. You will then see two new devices in joy.cpl and DCS. I can't do anything about the device names in joy.cpl or DCS. This is a limitation of Windows and the BLE protocol/API. 1 Slugmouse: a finger-mounted mouse button emulator for hand-tracked VR cockpit clicking. Available now! Slugmouse Demonstration Video

Alkaline Posted April 11 Posted April 11 Why cant I have the bitrate on 150 on HEVC codec? With less bitrate comes more compression artifacts/Pixelated image, wont it? The UI is less friendly but plays and configures for DCS just fine. Remember to not have the bitrate set to 150 in order to be playable. Use the ALXR pico client apk on your headset. It can be copied across folder to folder (or via adb tools), then installed and run as an untrusted app. Its barebones but sees your hands well enough. Its using OpenXR although SteamVR is the active runtime in SteamVR. Here's a screenshot of rough settings that work, having followed the HTCC guides. Interesting to see that a 4th option is apparently coming I think via native steamlink support? which might hopefully allow for handtracking, passthrough, whatever else in one place. Tom28 Posted May 5 Posted May 5 (edited) As none of the Crystal headsets support the Pimax handtracking module, you will need the Ultraleap Motion Controller. Edit: I stand corrected. The Crystal Light does not support the Pimax handtraking module I got mine cheap off eBay and stuck it to the front of my Crystal Light with double-sided sticky pads. Pimax is working on integrating hand tracking into the Super though. I don't have an ETA on it. Unfortunately, I'll have to wait on them before I can use my SlugMouse to it's full capability. From Pimax: “We sincerely apologize for the long wait caused by the time difference. We have consulted with our R&D engineers and learned that the Super model does not support the hand tracking feature of the old version. Instead, Super will be equipped with a brand-new gesture-recognition function. Please be patient, and we appreciate your understanding and cooperation.” Main Pit: i7 13700KF, RTX 4090, Pimax Crystal Super Co-Pilot Pit: i7 11700K, RTX 3090, Pimax Crystal OG
GPatricks Posted May 7 Posted May 7 I have the SlugMouse\HTCC working great with my (native OpenXR) Varjo XR-3. I have ordered a Meganex 8k and have a new UltraLeap2 sitting in a box for it, but as it uses Steam's OpenXR will HTCC and Slugmouse function? Virto NEx Posted May 12 Posted May 12 Loving my Slugmouse! Takes a bit of getting used to, but I'm starting to get the hang of it. Much better than using a normal mouse for cockpit interaction. Couple of issues have popped up though, windows 11 has both L and R registered as Slugmouse Right. It originally correctly showed both Slugmouse Right and Slugmouse Left, but after playing around with the programming and trying Slugpad (or possibly something else, idk what actually caused it) it shows both as Slugmouse Right. I've tried removing them and re-adding and it still happens. Thoughts? Is there a way to factory reset the Slugmouse or something? Having both as Slugmouse Right means the right and left clicks are swapped on my left hand.
