Received. I will build your order this week and let you know when it is ready to be shipped. The gloves, whilst nice, are impossible to use reliably. I found that soon after switching from 2D to VR and quickly looked at various solutions. 1 Slugmouse: a finger-mounted mouse button emulator for hand-tracked VR cockpit clicking. Available now! How are they attached to the body? It’s thickness. So small makes the ring size smaller and large makes it a bit bigger. They’re a push fit and snap into place. You have to be careful removing them. A gentle wiggle helps. Edited August 5, 2024 by slughead Slugmouse: a finger-mounted mouse button emulator for hand-tracked VR cockpit clicking. Available now! Slugmouse Demonstration Video

I'm interested in getting a Pimax, either the Super or the Light but not having any hand tracking is a big downside. I have seen them discuss a MR plate in the works, I just don't know for which devices, and I am just assuming they would include hand tracking with it. Their other hand tracking products seem to be on backorder. 1 Meta Quest 3, Intel i9-10900K, EVGA 3080Ti FTW3, Corsair 64GB DDR4 3200, ASUS ROG Strix z-490-E Gaming, Samsung 990 Pro 2TB M2 NVME Windows 11 Drive, Samsung 970 EVO Plus 2TB M2 NVME Game Drive

However, after being nagged one of their reps posted a poll to see if there is a financial incentive to do what they should be obligated to do to honour advertised features of a product that's not even remotely near 'end of life'. Which is why I won't be upgrading to the Super. Who knows what features will be trumpeted at the start to get the money rolling in, then dumped when it suits their margins. USB driver implementation is <profanity>, lost countless hours getting it to recognise the HTD hardware. Have it sorted now, I have a specific boot up sequence that ensures it is recognised by Win11. That's about it. 1

It’s one thing to draw attention to your issue but not really to suggest this is a universal problem based on less than a handful of people’s experiences. Maybe ask TFS and Sewmac how they got theirs to work. It could be a driver issue. Slugmouse: a finger-mounted mouse button emulator for hand-tracked VR cockpit clicking. Available now! Now, if you talking about the Pimax hand tracking module. If it would be a driver issue, why is it that the leap motion 2 works when connected via USB 3 but the Pimax hand tracking module doesn’t when connected to the Primax crystal headset in the USB C? Same Ultraleap version software and everything. I know Tallymouse has it working too. Just sharing my experience with others just in case and mostly so it gets corrected in the future with the upcoming Pimax devices.

Arty Posted August 12, 2024 Posted August 12, 2024 Hello I have leap motion the very first version and I use Falcon BMS. I don't have a VR but trackIR. Will it work?
slughead Posted August 12, 2024 Author Posted August 12, 2024 (edited) Slugmouse is a mouse button emulator. It doesn't move the mouse. It relies on other software such as HTCC to move the mouse which is a VR/OpenXR application. You may be able to use the leap motion control to track your hands in DCS, but I don't know what software you would need to use to make it move the mouse outside of VR in DCS. SewMac Posted August 21, 2024 Posted August 21, 2024 (edited) Received my order yesterday, have to say the build quality is exceptional - thanks @slughead Bluetooth pairing is working well, just needed to connect the external blue tooth antenna to the motherboard. Mouse clicks are working inside DCS, cursor moves with my head movement however moving the hand with slug mouse provides no cursor movement. Would love some guidance on this. That apart the mouse click and scrolling is bloody brilliant on the controls in the cockpit, super fast and responsive. Edited August 21, 2024 by SewMac

They are about 200-300mm from the pc so not sure what to do. Solution for others with similar problem: Connected the motherboard wifi & bluetooth antenna - connection now stable. Mouse clicks are working inside DCS, cursor moves with my head movement however moving the hand with slugmouse provides no cursor movement. Hey SewMac! I'm glad you solved your connection issue. I was going to suggest that if you have a motherboard with built-in Bluetooth and an antenna connection, you must use the antenna. I have such a motherboard, Gigabyte Z790 UD AX, and Bluetooth and WiFi reception is poor without the external antenna, yet once the antenna is connected, reliability is flawless. Regarding the cursor not tracking the hands, have you followed the guide for HTCC: Home | HTCC (fredemmott.com) Slugmouse: a finger-mounted mouse button emulator for hand-tracked VR cockpit clicking. SewMac Posted August 22, 2024 Posted August 22, 2024 (edited) Thanks @slughead, I did miss the HTCC guide. Have spent the lost couple of hours stepping thru the guide from Getting Started thru to DCS game setup. While the mouse clicks work, I can only get the in cockpit cursor to move by turning my head, moving the left and right hand slugmice in front of the Pimax Crystal hand tracking module with the IR170 camera provides no cursor movement. I've screen shotted the settings I think are relevant, would appreciate a quick review to see if I have selected any incorrect options. NOTE: I have also enabled the HTCC workarounds as well with no success. Edited August 22, 2024 by SewMac
slughead Posted August 22, 2024 Author Posted August 22, 2024 Have you disabled Utraleap under DCS > Settings > Special? In HTCC you have selected "virtual oculus touch controller". You don't have an Oculus. Fred no longer recommends touch controller emulation so please try "virtual touch screen or tablet" mode. Try that.
