Hey,

Lots of games sport a clock (displaying RL local time) on their main menu, and in my opinion DCS could also use one.

Especially in VR it is really easy to completely lose yourself and any awareness of the outside world. A clock would help with reminding us to take a break now and then for example, as flights tend to last quite a bit longer than you realise (at least mine do): "time flies when you're having fun!".

So there goes, my wish for a (digital) clock on the DCS main menu 🙂

Thanks!

If you see DCS's main menu, you are playing it wrong 🙂

But yeah, it's a small thing that would help in VR. I'm using voice activated Siri to get local time, much to the chagrin of the other people in my voice chat. I once wrote a steamVR overlay to always display a local clock in your environs, but that was long ago, and I need to see if it still works.

Fair enough, let's add "UI" in general, then it will also display for example in the campaign menu. Any menu while you're not actually flying, would be grand.

Try Baileywa’s user file list. He has something similar to that for download.

Sure, but that's an overlay that also shows in flight. I'm not a fan of overlays personally 🙂

Can't you turn it on and off with, let's say, VoiceAttack?
