BlackFalco Posted March 6, 2024 Posted March 6, 2024 Hi guys! So, as the title says, this is the problem : I've created a mission where I'm escorting some bombers that have to strike an airfield and I also placed down other fighters to escort the bombers giving them the "escort" task via editor, all good so far right? But as soon as I start the mission friendly fighters randomly go land to the nearest airbase. Does anyone know why that happens? AI in DCS is so strange. Thanks for any help!

Hi Silver and thanks for your answer!! I watched some more tutorials and find out that the "solution" is to FIRST give the AI a waypoint and then set a task to "escort", this way they'll do the task. I thought you could just spawn them and give them the task already 1
