PawlaczGMD Posted March 7, 2024 Posted March 7, 2024 Can you help diagnose these crashes I've been experiencing lately? This might be caused by using Reshade - I've not diagnosed it completely yet, but I have turned effects off now, and didn't crash in a while. I've done a slow repair a few times in between the crashes, it didn't help. In any case - is there any way to solve it? dcs.log-20240302-054454.zip dcs.log-20240307-003300.zip dcs.log-20240305-061739.zip dcs.log-20240302-163112.zip dcs.log

I believe all of the .zip entries were crashes. The .log might have been overwritten later, you might be right that it doesn't show a crash, as I've played the game after the latest crash. But the log files inside the zips show errors related to textures and Reshade as far as I am able to tell. For now, I simply turned off all Reshade effects in the main menu, and haven't crashed for a few hours. Reshade makes the game look better, so if the issue with crashing is on DCS side (or my side), it would be nice to have it fixed.

Sure, I will try to keep both DCS and Reshade updated. In fact, the latest 6.0.1 Reshade version is the only one I managed to get to work in VR MT, so I never used any previous versions.
