Lau
Compass Heading pointer covering almost 6°, that is too wide a range for precision DR, it should be pointier or like the end of a needle or slimer for 1° precision readings. Thanks, Lau Edited March 15 by Lau No customer support or modules in an abandoned state can only mean no further investments from ED’s customers. ED and third party developers are solely responsible for the level of features completeness at which they decide to release their modules. Taking in to account customers feedback as well as finishing the products is paramount. After release, modules should be playable with important essential features completed at very early stages after the release, including bug fixes. ED & partners staffs should grow with the addition of newer modules in order to not diminish the level of customer support or further delay delivery as per the initial sales agreement. The virtual world we fly with our modules is equally important; there is no way around AI, real weather and the earth map. Thank you
razo+r
The pointer is "divided" into 3 parts, making the readout more precise than the 6 degrees you think it shows, which is caused by the weird lighting situation in your cockpit. You even have posted a picture yourself showing the divided markings:
Lau
Thanks @razo+r lowered gama a bit to no avail, the pointer has no enough contrast with the sun at 4 o'clock high. The compass can not be usable only half of the time. I feel that we need more contrast on the central part of the pointer and end it as an arrow towards the graduation for more precision. I tried to locate the pointer in the textures files to paint it RED with no avail. No such problem in the Mossie, the pointer is thin and is not sitting on top of a wider base like in the Spitfire. Access to the compass in the Spitfire is awkward enough to on top of this add visibility/reading issues.
