Chazz_BMF Posted April 15, 2009 Posted April 15, 2009 Skinning is painting the skin of the helicopter. Try and take a look at RCN_Moose guide. You can find the link by searching the forum. You can also find a lot of great skins on http://www.lockonfiles.com :pilotfly:Wolfpack Production:pilotfly: -=<[WiN 10, I7 3770K @ 4,5 Ghz, Corsair H100i, Sabertooth Z77, 16 GB Dominator, Sapphire 7970 VaporX 6GB, C70 Vengance, Thrustmaster Warthog HOTAS, Saitek Pro rudder, Track IR, Beyerdynamics MMX 300 ]>=- DCS/FC2/FC3/Arma videos on my channel: https://www.youtube.com/user/WolfpackproductionDK "Fortes Furtuna Juvat"
Tnt Snipes Posted April 15, 2009 Author Posted April 15, 2009 hahaha this is gonna annot you now... what is RCN_ Moose guide? [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
EtherealN Posted April 15, 2009 Posted April 15, 2009 (edited) It's a guide to how to get your own paint onto the helicopters, written by RCN_Moose. http://forums.eagle.ru/search.php ;) What you need is a paint program, Photoshop is best but is massively expensive, The Gimp (gimp.org) is also powerful and completely free. You then apply the paint job you want to the nose part of a texture and follow the guide. MadTommy Posted April 15, 2009 Posted April 15, 2009 The nose is actually quite complicated.... made up of several parts that are hard to line up... Have a look at these adapted psd files, i have seperated the nose so you can see which parts make it up.. http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=39832 i5-3570K @ 4.5 Ghz, Asus P8Z77-V, 8 GB DDR3, 1.5GB GTX 480 (EVGA, superclocked), SSD, 2 x 1680x1050, x-fi extreme music. soup55 Posted April 15, 2009 Posted April 15, 2009 YES!!! I have a custom skin with my family crest, (picture to the left) on both sides of the nose. It was made for me by a well known member of these forums. I don't want to mention his name, because he might get flooded with requests. But he did a fantastic job, and, it looks great!! I'll try to show some pics if you would like. But only if he allows me to! He, (along with all the other 'skinners'), does wonderful work, and, his talent, along with the favor he did for me, is truly appreciated! So I would like to give a big thanks to all the skin artists out there! I wish I had your skills. Good stuff!! [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] SOUP55:matrix:

Tnt Snipes Posted April 17, 2009 Author Posted April 17, 2009 i would love if anyone good at skin making creates a chrome finish skin, something like P51 Mustang... would have made it but have no experience... i know black shark would loose its camouflage stealth personality but its just for fun...
