Game Crashes when loading a mission

I too now cannot play without BS crashing when I load a mission. it all started when I updated my ATI Catalyst drivers. Myabe it was a coinicidence, I don't know. I have re-installed WinXP because I ran out of all othe roptions. So far, it's still broken..

I don't know what error files and where they are to look at. The Windows error files are worthless, they make no sense to anyone except maybe Microsoft.

 

I hope somone can figure this out.. for all of us..

With ATI you need to disable the Catalyst AI....it causes headaches for many people. Lots of posts on that topic.

I think you missed my answer to the fix,, my bad.. with a couple threads about it..

 

my Video card was going bad.. I RMA'd it..

Well bit of a bump but I just tried the 1.01 patch and my game crashing issue is now gone. Strange but glad it works.
