I see no signs of freeze in your log. Are you sure the problem came from your client, not from the server?

This is happening offline too. The game takes maybe 10 minutes to launch and longer to load just a simple mission. I get 6-12 FPS. I think I already tried a long repair after the last incident.

I ran a Passmark test on the system and the CPU score is way down. Maybe some sort of damage?

Is Hyperthreading turned on?

Does the score match the one displayed on PassMark website?

I’m pretty sure HT is on since I haven’t disabled it. My Single Threaded score was 4713 (site score 4683) when the machine was new in 2022 but now it’s 3583.

I’m running some tests recommend by the vendor (Origin PC) let’s see what those indicate. Other games are having CPU bottleneck problems too so it’s maybe not a DCS issue. Prior to this DCS would run at 90-120 FPS no trouble.

Ensure your Windows power plan is not an economic mode.

Yes. It’s either balanced or high performance. But that doesn’t seem to make any difference.

Culprit was a defective CPU. Replacing that fixed the problem.
