How comes, that, after refueling and rearming, when I start again to continue the attack, there comes  the message "No TEDAC available". Me Pilot, George AI. George is aiming via TADS, Hellfires WASed, (so the plan...). The premier attack, same procedure, was successful. Just after reloading, TEDAC is no longer working. Quite frustrating, when you're busy launching an attack and realize the system quit.

So what am I doing wrong? No track at the moment. If necessary, I try to reproduce the scenario.

Thanks in advance for your help.

I have seen this before, as well. The message “TEDAC Unavailable” appears at the top right corner of the screen.

If I remember correctly, I swapped to the front seat and wasn’t able to get it working either, and restored into a new aircraft.

I’ll save the track if it happens again.

Hi Bignewy,

try to get it tracked. Just in case: If Floyd 1212 could send his track, it surly would help. Actually, I did the same, swapped seats, but it didn't help either.

I know I've run into this one before (though this may not be the cause in your case)-

If you use the night vision system (not the goggles, but the Apache FLIR) as the pilot, and you have the night vision source as 'TADS' (selected on the Mission Grip/'lower' part of the Collective handle), George will report 'No TEDAC Available' when trying to search for targets.

If this is unrelated to your problem, I hope you find a solution, else hope this helps.

Busy at the moment, so no track files.

First, I'll try LorenLuke's hint. Seems to me quite possible. Also switched to TADS after swapping seats with George for landing. After reloading, I started from the pilot position, but didn't change TADS. So during the attack, I called George AI for lazing and got the "No TEDAC availlable".

I had a friend run into something similar, and though my solution didn't work in his case, his solution was to hop in the gunner seat, go to the Weapons -> Util page, and turn the TADS off and then back on, and that fixed his issue.

Again, if this helps, great; if not, hope a solution is forthcoming.

Well, here finally the track. Sorry, but it's quite long till you reach the moment (just before the splash...). Don't know how - and if - there is a chance to cut/ shorten the track.

Anyway, I hope it's helpful, for you and me😉

Actually, didn't try the last trick of LorenLuke... But thanks for caring, mate.

Hi all,

Here I finally got a - sorry, quite long - track. Hope it helps to solve the problem. Don't know, how to cut the track to shorten.
