I feel bad that no one has posted here yet! I have only played the first two missions due to time constraints but this was thoroughly enjoyable. The Mi-24 is my favorite module to fly, I really enjoy the flight model. Both missions have taken full advantage of this module’s strength with some tricky landings and beautiful flying in hilly terrain.

I will come back once I finish the campaign. But so far, all I can say is that I am having a great time when I play it. Thank you Stone Sky!

Thanks for your feedback! It is very important for me!

Mission 6 was a neat experience getting to hunt down a moving convoy through winding mountain roads.  It's a real challenge to extend and then run in on an open segment of road with the right timing so that when Petrovich has the optical sight open and is scanning for targets, the trucks move into view and I can get a shot on them.  Then when all the AA is down I just pick off the remaining trucks with the gun.

could you make the mission 10 briefing say to fly heading 007 for 47, just for coincidence, even though the distance is forty nine klicks.

I'm really enjoying your campaign, it's true than the voice acting and the quantity of dialogues is low compared with another devs campaigns, but I am surprised with the love you put filling the map with units and the choose of the missions background. I'm on mission 7 and have the feeling that I'm going to see the major events for the russians during the syrian war.

Thanks and keep the good work.

Thanks for the feedback! Be sure to check out AH-64 OUTPOST when it releases! To see important events of the Coalition forces during the same period of time.

I just finished the campaign. Although it's sometimes a bit rough around the edges (voice overs etc.), I think it does have a certain charm. It was certainly fun and entertaining to play through. I especially liked the background story and also the variety of missions/mission locations. My only gripe is that during those missions where the player is the lead, the ai wingman does not engage any ground targets. Telling my wingman to "Attack ground targets" or "Attack air defense", he responses with an "Unable". Ordering him to engage mission target and rejoin, he gives me a "Roger", then doing nothing (he's not firing even a single shot). After a short while he just tells me he's rejoining. Not sure what the problem is...

I would really like to see more campaigns for the Hind (one of my favorite DCS modules), either for the Afghanistan map (Soviet invasion) or for the Kola map (cold war gone hot scenario).

Sorry, I liked your review and only now saw that you also pointed out the errors.
Yes, the DCS wingman behaves very badly. The most suitable scheme looks like this.
You need to set the formation so that the wingman is at the tail of 1.5 clicks. And give him instructions when you are as close as possible to your target. Perhaps this will help him locate targets.
In the following campaigns, I abandoned the default wingman.

I purchased this campaign almost a year ago, fired up the first mission and realized I wasn't close to familiar enough with the systems or good enough at formation flying to have any chance of completing the first mission let alone the entire campaign.  Well, I just completed the first mission and I absolutely loved the entire experience.  PLEASE consider making more M-24p campaigns, especially for Afghanistan, but honestly, whatever map you make them on I will fully support your endeavors.  Thanks again for an amazing experience in my favorite DCS module.
