WhitePython Posted April 16, 2024 Posted April 16, 2024 (edited) I noticed a sharp drop in the effectiveness of hitting targets online. It seems that after updating the chassis physics, the armor penetration and incendiary effect of the API`44 layout disappeared. the rest of the ammunition placement schemes operate as usual. checked in the mission editor by shelling with "6" Bf109. I would also really like to check either the armor plates on the foresails, Messers or the caliber of the Mustang Browning, because at a distance of information it should penetrate armor steel at an angle of 20 mm, and at 30 degrees. to the normal, at this distance 13 mm. (as I remember, correct me if I’m wrong), the armored back of the A-8 is only 5 mm, the armored head is 12mm, they can hardly withstand tungsten armor-piercing from Browning from 300-400 meters. WhitePython Posted October 15, 2024 Author Posted October 15, 2024 the problem with API`44 has long been solved by the released patches, but punching the armor of the backs (it should probably be considered equivalent to the pilot's damagmodel) Bf-109 and Fw-190 Browning shells mounted on the Mustang raises questions. Anyway, thank you so much for your attention to these points.
