Greetings, I'm experimenting with hand tracking for Quest 3, watching the videos and reading forum threads, etc. My question is about my in game VR menu in the VR section. The Hand Tracking section doesn't give me the "Trackers" option. Only "Disable" and "Controllers". I am running OpenRX ToolKit and using the Oculus OpenRX runtime not VD. And no other tracking programs. Should I have the "Trackers" option in my DCS VR drop down Menu? Thanks in advance.

are you using version 0.64 by any chance ? I was going to log a ticket here myself but it does appear the quest 0.64 seems to have broken it or the change eagle dynamics made to fix the 0.63 openxr issue has caused problem. I had it working perfectly in 0.62 and it worked in the 0.63 version - although that might have been somewhat unclean given the work around to initially fix the 0.63 release issue. However 0.64 I too can't get trackers to come up. I've got the iphone app and the pc app both running developer mode, running dcs with openxr - no changes from when it worked but dcs doesn't see to be detecting the hands. I've tried turning developer mode off and on... still nothing. @BIGNEWY any chance we can get devs to test this ??

I need to look when I get home to verify but my Oculus app did update as soon as I undid the Staging folder rename to block it. I'm sure it's 0.64.  I have Developer mode on and the hand tracking turned on in my Headset. When I launch Meta Link and go to my desktop I keep getting a message saying it can't find my controllers until I pick one up.

We must have seen the same videos and decided we wanted to try hand tracking for the Q3 around the same time...

I am on 64 and struggled to get it to work as well, took some tinkering.

First, make sure you have "Developer Runtime Features" enabled under the "beta" tab of the Oculus software. That's the obvious solution and the one most people recommend off the bat, but I am going to assume you already tried and it still didn't allow you to track hands, which is what happened to me.

I dug deeper and found this:

Essentially the recommendation is to delete dbghelp.dll.

Essentially the recommendation is to delete dbghelp.dll from your bin and bin-mt folders. Doing so gave me the ability to select hand tracking and it's working now.

removing that file worked for me

Will your install pass the integrity check getting into servers after removing the file? Thanks!

Yes.

Thanks for the quick reply. I see the file is in the Oculus software and not in the DCS program. I should have read your link more closely.

I'm hoping it's not too late to join the party on this one.

I have all the above issues, but have narrowed my problem with hand tracking to when a link cable is used.  Hand tracking works fine when in pass through mode and immersive mode.  As soon as I enable the link using a cable, poof, no more hand tracking.  The hand controllers will work, but I don't want that.  I want my hands free for stick and throttle (Saitek Cyborg Evo FF).  I would like to be able to use hand tracking for cockpit switch and knob toggling.

I can't find the above mentioned Developer Runtime Features in the Beta tab.  It doesn't exist in the latest Meta Quest Link software.  Maybe it was replaced with the Public Test Channel (which I enabled).

The cable link test is good at 2.6 Gbps.  To the best of my knowledge, I have the VR settings in DCS configured correctly.  I've even tried enabling/disabling the hand controllers settings with no change in visible hand tracking.

DCS has the latest updates as does my Quest 3 headset.  So I'm at a loss here and could use some help on this.  Thanks in advance for any help or suggestions
