RealDCSpilot Posted May 23, 2024 Posted May 23, 2024 (edited) Is that "realistic" and intended? Edited May 24, 2024 by HB_Painter Classification of Bugs and User reports i9 13900K @5.5GHz, Z790 Gigabyte Aorus Master, RTX4090 Waterforce, 64 GB DDR5 @5600, PSVR2, Pico 4 Ultra, HOTAS & Rudder: all Virpil with Rhino FFB base made by VPforce, DCS: all modules
Lt_Jaeger Posted May 23, 2024 Posted May 23, 2024 I'm asking me the same question. From what I stumbled over in the heatblur discord, this seems to be a intended effect. Controls come stiffer coming airborne. Still feels "funny", but if this is what it was Waiting for a competent answer from someone who knows though
Shaman Posted May 23, 2024 Posted May 23, 2024 (edited) Inside Special F-4 options, increase FFB gain to at least 200% Roll. I also use 150% for pitch now. VPforce Rhino - with curved extension 15cm and TM Warthog stick on top of it. The top two FFB options are off in my profile. HB_Painter Posted May 24, 2024 Posted May 24, 2024 Hey yes the control system on the F4 is quite complex and completely modelled with the bellows and bobweights pulling on them. For further information you can also read here: https://f4.manuals.heatblur.se/systems/flight_controls_gear/flight_controls.html#bobweights-vs-bellows
