DayGlow Posted May 23, 2024 Posted May 23, 2024 (edited) Getting back into the A-10c II and flying some missions. Trying to figure out what is going on. Trying to communicate with JTAC, but I found if I use the ARC-186 at either 30 or 40mhz I just get a continuous tone. If I tune the ARC-210 to 30 or 40mhz I can communicate just fine. Write rather use the ARC-186 for JTAC as summer missions need the ARC-210 for other mission comms Edited May 23, 2024 by DayGlow "It takes a big man to admit he is wrong...I'm not a big man" Chevy Chase, Fletch Lives 5800X3D - 64gb ram - RTX3080 - Windows 11
Yurgon Posted May 24, 2024 Posted May 24, 2024 The ARC-186 radio as such isn't broken, I've used it earlier today to communicate and had no such issue. In turn, it would be helpful if you could point us to the missions in question and/or upload a track.
Solution DayGlow Posted May 24, 2024 Author Solution Posted May 24, 2024 So turns out it is Taz1004's optimized textures for the aircraft somehow affect the radio even though it's only a texture mod. Once I removed it the radio worked as expected. 1 "It takes a big man to admit he is wrong...I'm not a big man" Chevy Chase, Fletch Lives 5800X3D - 64gb ram - RTX3080 - Windows 11
