[Resolved] Trim works on keyboard but not on joystick hat switch

I was struggling to keep the jet under control as I cannot get the trim hat to work at all on my VKB Gladiator - everything is mapped and FFB is turned off in the Misc menu.  I discovered though that if I map the trim switches to keyboard commands I can operate the trim that way.  Bug or feature?

If it works via keyboard commands but not with your Joystick, it is possible that you have a bind conflict. Sometimes DCS auto-assigns certain actions, such as "view left/right/..." to these buttons. If you cant find the offender, it can help to press "Clear category" to kill all binds on that stick and then rebind yourself.

Hey so one of my friends also had a bind problem where it would show as bound but didn't do anything in game then (apparently it wasn't saved correctly or smth) after restarting DCS and rebinding it worked so maybe this also can help you Let me know if it worked

One thing i would add about the trim, is that one quick press of the trim seems to move the stabs along way - i'd be surprised if this was as per the real aircraft.  Would be interested in any SME feedback on this one.

It reminds me a little of the mosquito trim where literally one quick press and release would add too much.  

50% of what it currently is would be helpful to enable trimming out, but again be interested in the SME feedback.

I mention this as is seems to be an issue with a few of the keybinds, reticle depression being one of them where a quick press of the keybind shifts it down 10-20 units!
