Updated AI only unit models.

As the title says, some of the AI models are showing their age and could use an update. For example the comparison between the UH-60A and the SH-60B...

List of outdated looking (but still functional) models.

• SH-60B
• CH-53
• C-17A
• TU-160
• TU-95MS
• TU-142

There´s some more, Su-30 is also a model from LOMAC times. 

Looks like ED is preparing a new (paid) product with a lot of 3D improved models for land and air assests, will see if all those are included

Yep, definitely. Personally, I'm inclined to prioritise updating existing assets before adding completely new ones and the priority should probably be aircraft > weapons > ships (particularly because the lower quality ones are very low quality) > ground vehicles.

I wouldn't be surprised if some were even older than that, i.e. Flanker 2.5-era.

Well, unfortunately we know very little about that one, there hasn't been any update on it in the 8 months or so since it was first announced. It was also supposed to go beyond being a simple asset pack - what the actually means we don't know (will we get proper buddy refuelling store functionality for the AI? Will the B-1B, B-52H and S-3B get all of their missing/incorrect weapons implemented/replaced?).

Someone need remember ED has working on to update that AI units, from years ago, and make quality 3D models take time... more if that 3D models coming from the LOMAC/FC Times...

That list has growing... as C-17, S300PS, S300V, Su-30 and others, talked on the Russian forum section.

The buddy refuelling store funtionality has on plans, and actualy require a complete rework.

Of course it takes time, Dragon, but not 5 years... They are doing it, but the pace is painfully slow. A good 3D modeller can make any of those in under a month.

With a good blueprint? Yes, of course. Not including textures or animations, that is.

And damage model and many of the work and codding.... please, that level of quality has not accepted by ED.

Yeah that'll be a 10 year project, but i mean I'd pay for something like that if the list of units was extensive. Like Prowlers, Intruders, Compass Calls, Rivet Joints, JSTARS, Corsairs, a myriad of other Air, Naval, Ground units from NATO and the USSR/Russia.

We have received multiple new air and ground units each year for several years now. So I would say they are working pretty fast considering how good they come out.
