Lionel McDermott Posted May 24, 2024 Posted May 24, 2024 Greetings, I am glad to be a member of the forum. Actually I have a tech blog site and I would like to review a CH product on my website here. Could you please explain what should I need to do for reviewing this? I am immensely interested to go further with this. Please let me know. It should be highly appreciated for your feedback. Thanks Lionel
Aapje Posted May 24, 2024 Posted May 24, 2024 Not sure why you picked CH since the products are pretty much ancient. I'd instead suggest the Trustmaster AVA, which seems to fit your site much better. And my advice would be to team up with someone who has extensive experience with a lot of flight sim hardware, where you focus on writing a story for a general audience and depend on the other person for the technical expertise. I don't see how you can build up a sufficient knowledge base quickly enough to not make major errors otherwise. 1

Thanks Lionel This forum has zero connection to CH - you're not going to be in contact with them here and frankly very odd that you'd try versus contacting them directly. Also odd that you're looking to review hardware that hasn't changed in many years for your first review of flight controls. Why wouldn't you pick something new? I'm also not sure how you're going to be able to offer any kind of meaningful review given the apparent lack of experience in this area, nevermind how you're going to offer some insight that hasn't been offered by someone else in the past years that these devices have been available. I also note that the site you claim is yours is one of those that just regurgitates press releases. I don't see any non-stock photos on any of the "reviews". Got to assume that this is just the weakest scam I've seen in quite a while... Edited September 8, 2024 by Scott-S6 1
