[No Bug] Cockpit gauges visibility on lower settings is unreadable.

So on lower settings 1920x1080 with DLSS set to performance, the gauges and dials are unreadable when head in default position.  The F-14A/B Tomcat does not have the same issue on the same settings.   The F-4E also is VERY dark even on clear day inside the cockpit of the pilot seat.

I have this problem too and I have the global illumination option enabled, and this mod fix the issue for me:

to add this to any other livery you simply take the textures from this livery and place them into the other liveries folder- and then open description.lua as a text file and copy the text from this one into the livery you want the clear text in.  Can you better explain this statement, ie where do you put the text ( top/bottom ) of .lua and what text are you talking about.

IDK. I did copy it to Saved Games\DCS.openbeta\Liveries and select the ScarClearWhiteText livery in the rearming window.

That only allows you to use it with the Default skin? What if you want to use it in a skin other than the default?  TC

As I know, yes. By that if HB implement this fix in some way will be better for all.

Hey thanks for the report! As the other user states please make sure you use global illumination as the cockpit was tuned for having this setting on 🙂

Hello,Hodo! I have recently been doing research on JF17 wing-tip BVR capabilities, and I saw your reply to a thread in 2021 stating that several PLAAF FC-1 documents indicate that SD10 can be mounted on JF-17 wing-tip pylon, do you remember the source of this document? Any help is greatly appreciated! Looking forward to your reply!(And Here is the link of the thread :https://forum.dcs.world/topic/255617-any-plans-to-add-more-weapons/page/2/ )
