II.JG1_Vonrd Posted May 25, 2024 Posted May 25, 2024 For all modules, I have a png of my HOTAS keybinds which I place in the kneeboard of each plane. With so many modules in my game, I really need this quick reference especially for new modules and ones not flown regularly. How can I make this cheatsheet the first page in the kneeboard for the F-4E? I placed the graphic in a Saved Games folder for the F-4E with a name of !!! 001 Virpil_Winwing F-4E Phantom II. I thought that the exclamation marks would place it at the front but it is buried about 20 pages in. Also, can I get rid of all of these pages that are seemingly default and I don't find helpful and actually annoying?
Trigati Posted May 25, 2024 Posted May 25, 2024 Not a perfect solution but….Make it the absolute last page. 999_name.png or something. That way you only have to go left 1 page from the start page and it’s there.Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 2

Hi, I opted to move all *.jpg from c:\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World OpenBeta\Mods\aircraft\F-4E\Cockpit\KNEEBOARD\pages" to "C:\Users\"your name"\Saved Games\DCS.openbeta\Kneeboard\F-4E-45MC" so my checklists would be before the originals. You may delete the ones you don’t want. 1
609_Relentov Posted May 25, 2024 Posted May 25, 2024 (edited) @Sydy - curious, I wonder if the kneeboard images in ...\Mods\aircraft\F-4E\Cockpit\KNEEBOARD\pages will be re-inserted with every new DCS update (or if you did a repair)? Since we haven't had an update since the F-4E was released, I don't think we've been able to test this yet. Edited May 25, 2024 by 609_Relentov

Hi @609_Relentov, I am 100% sure they will, at least when the F-4E has an update, but that’s how I could solve it so far. Take care, Sydy 1
Solution II.JG1_Vonrd Posted May 25, 2024 Author Solution Posted May 25, 2024 @Sydy thanks! I backed up and then deleted everything in the "pages" folder (including the two .lua files) in c:\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World OpenBeta\Mods\aircraft\F-4E\Cockpit\KNEEBOARD\pages Now the kneeboard is only showing my HOTAS cheetsheet, the mission maps and the relative airport charts. I'll see what happens at the next update.
metiiel56 Posted June 13, 2024 Posted June 13, 2024 (edited) To make your HOTAS keybinds cheatsheet appear as the first page in the kneeboard for the F-4E, you can try renaming the file with a prefix that would sort it alphabetically before any other files. a small world cup Edited June 13, 2024 by metiiel56 1

With need an official feature/app like Kneeboard Builder, were you could opt to remove the default kneeboards. Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk
