\Saved Games\DCS_4E, what's it?

Hi,

Just saw a directory "DCS_4E" under "Saved Games" for the F-4 mod, is it right?  Thanks.

I see that also and within it it has the folders "cache" (with a bunch of other folders / files within it), "jester" (empty) and "recorders" (with folder "avtr" which is empty. 

Inquiring minds want to know.

As per manual, this is where screens from tape recorder and (upcoming) gun camera will go. Not sure yet about Jester folder though.

No, I am sure liveries will be on a usual place:  ...\Saved Games\DCS.openbeta\Liveries\F-4E

Btw, you have to create the plane's folder manually inside the Liveries.

Is this it's only function?

The DCS_F4E folder contains a lot more than just Jester crashlogs.
It has the session for our HBUI, the data when you record something with the AVTR (and also the gun camera when its there) and a bunch of other smaller things.
It will for example also contain any sort of wear/tear persistence for campaigns and so on.
It is the folder where we store Phantom related data for you.

Some other modules have these folders as well, the Viggen, the Mig21,...

Does it mean that F-14 will follow the same pattern if moved to Jester 2.0?
